Ego System is a gyaru magazine that i rarely found anywhere when i started getting into gyaru fashion. Quite lengthy, but it does feature a lot of early 2000s gyaru fashion, and makeup. For those who can read japanese, pages 81 to 87 are NSFW pages. Bonus: pictures of old purikura and email photos.

This small booklet is a Kraft advertisement masked as a cookbook. Features sixteen recipes, including the infamous tuna aspic on the cover. This does not have a year anywhere on it so, I had to look for adverts for any of the recipes. I am estimating around 1964 due to an ad featuring a boxed spaghetti dinner.

Kilala is a hime gyaru magazine. Hime gyaru (aka princess gal) is a type of gyaru that is frilly, pastel and just princess like. This magazine scan is quite short and features: makeup tutorials and recommendations, hair styles, and hime gyaru looks. The cool parts are especially the disney princess makeup inspo and the tours of model's rooms. NOTE: I do not know the publisher of this magazine. If you know, please let me know in the comments :)

Yayy another egg beauty issue! Egg beauty issues are based off of early 2010s gyaru makeup (ex: shiro gyaru, banba, onee gyaru etc.) so nothing too extraordinary. This issue has sections featuring eye makeup, cosmetic recommendations, hair styles, makeup for school, gal nails, skin care and diet (kinda) and (the Egg magazine usual) model shenanigans.
